Arvid's on a rampage!!!

It seems like while I was away on my eo break, that something sparked Arvid into becoming more active everyday. He's been jailling and walling a lot of players that speed or use other cheats. From what I've been hearing, he's been walling for about a week now. Wow! An active admin, go Arvid!!!!!

Another boring week in eo. Nothing really special to say.

Another note: I just bought a test panda today, his names gunnerr. I heard he had a bad rep from way back with the first few owners, but now he's in my hands, and I will be trying to fix his reputation as much as I possibly can.

Well, as most of you have noticed, EO's been boring lately. So theirs really not much "EO related" happenings. And some of you have noticed how I've been inactive on both test and main server... well I've been working this past month, I've got a 12 hour shift job monday-thursday and another 6 hour shift job friday-sunday. So as you can probably see, that doesn't really give me much personel time to hang around Eo or do whatever I'd normally do.

EO realted news:
Vult got new servers last week, which in my opinion, have worse lag then before on the "older" servers. He still has the "old main" server right now still up, and if your lvl 20+ you can get all the admin spells.

The usaul, admins logging on and getting yelled at etc. Someone said rexor let his real life girl friend onto his account and she hosted a mini hide and seek event th other day. On a peronal note... I have achieved the test top 100 after 545hours and 46minutes of playing test :) .

Anti- speed and skellies on main

Seems I have forgot to add this to the last post, but anyways. Alot of people were compliaining about massive lag issues with this detection method, so Vult took it off to rework it and hopefully vult will make the speed detection even better. And the skellies on main did happen, but it was only temporary though. Avamay asked vult for a skellie skin and vult changed her to one as well as about five other random players. The skins have since been removed from the people that had goten changed to them.

The past few days

Well... I have been a bit to busy to log onto the forums to check out all of the newest news happening. But I have read that their was an admin event satuday night or sunday morning for a chef suit and chef hat, doctors and nurse suit. Then yesterday there was a mass freezing of characters that had recently logged off, but they remained online server sided, some where saying it was a glitch, others were saying that vult was testing the servers maximum capacity before the server crashes. Now I just read the forums today and it seems like the server crashed again and it seems like the anti speed was taken out, ugh why vult, why? You worked hard at detouring speed, and you just take it down?

Anti speed is on main now.

I guess vult had enough testing of the anti speed on test server and is giving it a try on main server for now. He rebooted the server about two hours back from the time of this post and added anti speed with that reboot.

Vult's fighting back.

As most of you know, over the past few weeks vult has been logging onto main and test server quite often and he has been fixing a lot of exploits, glitches and hacks. Well it seems that the WORST of all the hacks... speeding has been taken down a peg on eo test server.

He has sucessfully added a map tile speed detection "program" into the server that detects speeding. If you get detected by the program, you get dc'd from the server and you get a two minute ip ban, meaning you can't log back into the server for at least two minutes. People can still speed by using speedgear, but at least it's not full blow hyper speed where a level 5 could kill a level 40. Hopefully going to be perfected then moved onto main server within the next few days.

Catching up on...

...of whats been going "down" on Endless Online this past week.

Last week:Artmoney guild ranks caused a mass duping/rollback duping. Titles, guilds, and guild ranks that had charcters made in artmoney where removed, because they where the effect of the mass duping/rollback duping. Gold cap of 2mil on inventory gold. Admin, art and event scrolls got duped. Reward scrolls got duped on test serever. Someone atained lvl 103 on test due to the duped reward scrolls, she got deleted the next day. Reward scrolls where changed to scroll of nothing.

Today:All banked gold was changed to 1mil. Space bar usage when typing glitched, making no space in between new words. Global w spamming fixed. Guild tags were changed to lowercase letters because vult-r didn't want a repeat of the guild rank rollback duping, then fixed to their original upercase lettters right after another reboot. Fake items glitch fixed . Invisable accounts where changed to regular accounts by changing their hair color to an actual color not a t-searched edited color.

Well... I've been pondering for a while about starting an eo blog and I guess my free time has gotten the better of me, because here I am writting an eo blog.
